The concentration
An extrait is the most concentrated form of perfume. It holds far more perfume oil than an eau de parfum, so a few sprays are enough and the scent lasts a long time on the skin.
Origin
In the Arab world, fragrance has been part of daily life for centuries: when guests arrive, for Friday prayer, at celebrations. One of the most precious materials is oud, the dark resin from the heartwood of the agarwood tree.
